AEBL, the Association of AE Business Leaders, is an essential leadership forum on the U.S. west coast, as well as various pockets across the country. Originally called the Professional Services Management Association (PSMA), this organization has been around since 1975. Yet, Chicago is still missing this valuable industry resource.
AEBL membership is comprised of senior managers, principals and owners from design and consulting firms who share business expertise through national and regional CEO Roundtables, Step Up to Leadership seminars, and other information sharing events. The mission: “…to strengthen and support the AE industry by promoting best practices, corporate stewardship, effective leadership and free exchange of ideas.”
Who should attend AEBL events? Anyone with responsibilities for operations, marketing, employee development, project management, company and regional leadership, knowledge management. That’s one of the unique aspects of AEBL: key business issues and challenges are addressed by a multi-discipline group—not just marketing directors or principal engineers or financial managers or architects–-but the big business picture from all perspectives!
Midwestern AEC professionals—AEBL is targeting Chicago as the place to next expand. Are you ready to actively get involved and grow this resource? Send me a direct message to express your interest.
